We are happy to announce we received the latest Robert Parker’s WINE ADVOCATE reviews of our 2013 Chateauneuf-du-Pape (88 points) and 2013 Ombre du Chateau (87 points).
Very pleased with the reviews, given the nature of the 2013 harvest.

‘France, Rhone: A Focus on Châteauneuf du Pape : The Difficult 2013 & 2014 Vintages
October 30, 2015
Dealt difficult hands in both 2013 and 2014, the southern Rhone still managed to produce enjoyable wines
I reported on the 2013s from barrel last year, and this mediocre/average year is similar in style to a more concentrated 2008.
A cool vintage that had less sun than normal and above average moisture, its defining feature was the incredible grape shatter that decimated yields. This affected the old vine Grenache the most, (a severe freeze in February also contributed to the poor quality of the Grenache) and the normally Grenache heavy blends are shifted significantly more towards Syrah and Mourvedre.’
